Standard Pricing
$315 per 10 hour block (*NOTE: 10 hour blocks of time cannot be split up, they must be 10 consecutive hours, example: 8AM-6PM) or $35 per hour if bought individually, includes an engineer, recording,
mixing and mastering! If you choose to record your project on our analog tape machine, the only
additional charge will be your tape costs. This will vary based on the current market value of tape at the time of your session. Tape has become harder to come by over the past few years as less companies are manufacturing it.
Mastering
If your song is recorded and or mixed at Gremlen, mastering is charged at the standard hourly recording rate should you decide to have us master it!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I I recently had the pleasure of working with Gremlen Studios and Mr Sam Beckley. This is the first time in many years I have been in a studio, and the changes are immense. I have been a professional live engineer most of my adult life - approaching 40 years, and Mr Beckley has impressed me greatly with his knowledge of not only his processes and equipment, but he has a wonderful ability to interpret any musical nuance, and want perfectly. His ear was impeccable and he took every need into account. Our project together was to edit, clean, and remaster, live taped recordings of a classical Indian Sitarist. These recordings are very special as this great Master Sitarist has passed on and we have very limited recorded resources to use for a tribute CD, for his friends, family, and students. Some of these recordings go back 36 years, and were in less than desirable condition. Sam thru his magic restored these recordings to an unbelievable level of quality. The sophistication which he exhibited, and the light touch he used to clean, enhance, and preserve these recordings and make them sound brand new, is a wonderful testament to Sam's knowledge & craft, it's as if you are sitting at the concert.
I had the honor to be Sri Patric Marks of Chicago's, sound engineer for almost 3 decades and it was a privilege to work alongside Sam to ensure not only a wonderful memento would be produced, but it would stand as a testament to a lifetime of creating wonderful music on the sitar. I know Patric would be very pleased indeed with the outcome.
